Emotional Intelligence is a guided and open conversation series created to explore and celebrate the relationship between Black men and women.
We dive into friendships, family relationships and of course… romantic relationships.
For fun, the event will start with 2 workshop options related to curiosities regarding sex and pleasure.
The ultimate goal for Emotional Intelligence is for you to share stories, experiences, interests and build connections with the opposite sex. The premise is for each gender to share things they want to know about the other and things they want the other to know about them.
Workshop A: Play Things: BDSM Toys, Tools, & the Psychology of Play
An interactive introduction to BDSM toys and tools that explores not only what they are and how they’re used, but the psychological experiences they can create. Through demonstration and conversation, we’ll explore how different tools can engage anticipation, power, surrender, sensory focus, vulnerability, ritual, trust, and control.
