Second Mondays is Back with the Black Joy Parade!
Over an entire year later and Second. Mondays. is. BACK. Presenting another very special addition with our friends at Black Joy Parade which means more joy, bigger venue, positive vibes, and cash grand prizes for the top 3 open mic winners.
What to Expect:
First 100 drinks on us 😛
The Second Mondays stage is open for 5 mins performances by Black creatives which can include music, poetry, dance or whatever else your Black heart and soul desires. In classic open mic fashion, the night ends with a vote on the community favs + a dope freestyle session open to all. Plus there will be Black vendors, food for purchase, and a FREE cocktail for the first 100 folks.
What to Do:
Doors and open mic list open at 6pm sharp. Stage is first come first sign up so if you really want to get on, make sure to be there on time. For all hopeful artists, please come prepared with your music - a link or file ready to be emailed to the DJ on site. For those coming to enjoy the expressions and vibes, sounds will be provided by Tofu Jack.

Both Gold Beams and Black Joy Parade are fully committed to supporting Black art and artists with opportunities to show off, get paid and build real careers from their work. Second Mondays is just another example of this - art, artists and communion #FUBU.
